Moorland Breeze

Moorland Breeze is a newly renovated 1950s Chalet designed as the perfect getaway for two. Situated within a private 17-acre equestrian smallholding in a secluded area, the Chalet has breathtaking views across the Cornish countryside and the spectacular Bodmin moor.

Moorland Breeze forms part of Poldue Farm, which dates back to the 12th Century and was built at a similar time to the village church.

Moorland Breeze is set within our family-run smallholding, and there are likely to be horses and other animals around, such as Ronnie and Reggie, our naughty runner ducks who are amusing to watch; we kindly ask you to respect the animals' space.

We are set down a long private drive accessed via two wooden gates that bring you into our yard; there is a designated parking area with ample room next to the chalet.

The rental includes the chalet accommodation, a large enclosed garden, and a private parking area. Regrettably, you cannot roam over our 17 acres for safety reasons due to livestock, but you can enjoy watching them as the chalet and garden look out over the grounds, and the horses sometimes come and stand near your garden fence!

Located in an area of outstanding natural beauty and only a short distance from the picturesque village of Blisland, the chalet is an ideal spot to explore the beautiful scenery. Many rural and coastal walks are close to the area, which offers a fabulous opportunity to glimpse Cornwall's abundant birds and wildlife. Several great pubs and restaurants are nearby to try out in and around North Cornwall.

We are situated down a private gated drive on the edge of open moorland where cattle, sheep and horses roam freely.

Wake up to the sound of birdsong, spot wildlife, explore cycle and walking trails from your doorstep, and then return home to the privacy and comfort of your spacious rural retreat.

Visit the quaint village of Blisland with a unique local pub and its beautiful 12th-century church; Blisland church is the only one in the UK devoted to a pair of saints, St Protus and St Hyacinth. "Of all the country churches of the west I have seen, I think that Blisland is the most beautiful.” These words have resonated with many of the visitors who have come to see the church
